Police Raid Bieber Bus; Adele More Popular Than Boyle

Police Seize Drugs, Tazer from Bieber Tour Bus

Police in Sweden, where Justin Bieber is currently touring, swooped on the singer’s luxury tour bus this week, seizing drugs and an unlicensed stun gun.

The Canadian super star was just about to go on stage at the time when authorities in Stockholm made the bust.

“A colleague sensed what was considered to be a strong smell of marijuana,” said Police spokesman Lars Bystrom.

“We don’t have any concrete suspicions against any specific person. There were several people on board.”

Justin went on to perform without a hitch and was allowed to leave the country the next morning as his tour took him across the border to Finland.

However, the latest incident will no doubt hurt his credibility with record bosses who are struggling to keep him and his entourage on their best behaviour for their young fan base.

Adele and Susan Boyle Fight it Out

She was the darling of the Internet until Psy came along and stole her thunder. Susan Boyle, whose appearance on a British talent show helped her become a global hit, has been riding that success ever since.

Now recording her fifth album, she has hit a snag. That snag is called Adele.

Between them, the two singers have sold almost 50 million albums, won a host of awards and are worth an impressive RM170 million. However, they both share the same record label and company executives have put pressure on Boyle to hold off on her latest material so that Oscar-winning Adele can take priority.

“Both Adele and Boyle have done incredibly well and both are very important artists. While Boyle is still a big hitter and there are high hopes for her next album, Adele is the priority,” a label insider said.

“Stateside, she has never been hotter. Some of those within Susan’s camp are worried that this is not a good sign but label bosses have been quick to reassure them that Susan still has an incredibly bright future.”

Adele has sold around 35 million records globally after leaping to fame with her debut album, 19. She won an Oscar for her soundtrack to Sam Mendes’ recent James Bond hit Skyfall.
